Kristian Storgaard is the founder of TheRightW.ai and an independent advisor on AI governance, legaltech and technology law. He combines 20+ years of legal experience with technical fluency and strategic C-suite sparring.
He spent more than 20 years at one of Denmark's largest law firms specialising in IT law, data protection, intellectual property and telecommunications, the last nine years as equity partner. In 2026, he left private practice to build TheRightW.ai.
Kristian holds a Master of Laws (cand.jur.) and a Master of IT (Organisation) from Aarhus University, and is a Certified Scrum Product Owner. He is an active co-founder of a legaltech startup and sits on the regional steering group of DigitalLead in Mid Jutland.
He has served as chair of the Danish Scout Corps' general assembly for 17 years — an event with up to 1,000 participants — and brings 40 years of active experience in the voluntary sector as leader, chair and board member.
His approach is pragmatic and business-oriented: regulation should turn into decisions, not into fear.
